- I really can sympathize with this family because my now well behaved 8 year old had a bad tantrum problem and I never thought we would live to see how well behaved she is now :0) That said I don't understand WHY they would even take this to the media or participate in an interview.

- My point was that a marriage is a real commitment; but only if you make it one. People get married everyday and a year later get divorced because they really didn't take the time to evaluate what a marriage is. A committed relationship or marriage takes hard work on both partners parts.

- LOL my daughter is 8 and was the flower girl at our wedding almost 5 years ago now. She will know her parents took marriage seriously and didn't just get married because they were pregnant. Good Luck Amy and have fun planning your wedding. The day goes by way too fast.

- Wow Shannon-1504116 all I can say is that I hope you teach your children to be a bit more open minded than you. Maybe your kids will be perfect and believe everything you do but heaven forbid if one of them makes a "mistake" and has to tell you.

- My (NOW) husband and I did have a daughter prior to getting married. I think it's becoming increasingly more accepted but I did get disapproval from some.

- For a pregnant woman to drink a glass of wine is a personal choice that each expectant mother has to decide on her own. While the public shouldn't condemn a mothers right to choose, for appearance sake, maybe a public restaurant isn't the place to order that glass of wine.

But you're missing the point. The Kids don't stop hurting just because the "ink is dry" on the divorce papers. How about getting some counseling to work through this for "the kids sakes".
